Daxinzhuang Town administers 62 administrative villages, with a current population of 56,241 and a cultivated land area of 105,613 mu, including 76,905 mu of irrigated land.

The town has 19,000 mu dedicated to protected horticulture, spanning 40 natural villages and forming 15 specialized vegetable-producing villages. The main crops include tomatoes, celery, cucumbers, etc., all produced under pollution-free standardized practices. The registered “Green Note” brand vegetables are recognized as nationally high-quality, pollution-free agricultural products. The main product, tomatoes, is harvested in two peak seasons annually—April and May, and July and August—with a total output of 200,000 tons. These are mainly sold to Beijing, Tianjin, the Northeast, and other major markets across the country. Known for their excellent taste, tender texture, vibrant color, and good storability and transportability, they are highly favored in the market.

To further expand and strengthen the vegetable industry, Daxinzhuang Town has planned and constructed a three-mu (approximately 2,000 hectares) greenhouse vegetable demonstration zone project. As of now, the town’s greenhouse vegetable cultivation area has reached 25,000 mu, initially forming a new pattern of protected vegetable planting that combines scattered and concentrated areas, integrates both warm and cool climate production, radiates across the entire town, and promotes coordinated development.

Daxinzhuang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Fengnan City. Established as Daxinzhuang Township in 1954, it was reorganized as a commune in 1958, reverted to township status in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1986. It is located in the eastern part of the city, 24.5 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 136.8 square kilometers, it has a population of 55,000. The Tangshan-Tanghai Highway runs through the town.
