Beisi Park

Beisi Park is a cultural tourism attraction.

Beisi Park is located at the intersection of Guzhen Road and Jinghua Road in Guye District, Tangshan City, about 1 kilometer north of the Guye traffic junction. The park was built in the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, rebuilt after the Tangshan earthquake, and once attracted large crowds of visitors. In recent years, due to years of neglect, it gradually lost its original functionality. In 2007, the Guye District Party Committee and District Government reinforced the concept of urban management, and publicly auctioned off 60 acres of land on the southern side of Beisi Park to raise funds for its reconstruction.

The Beisi Park renovation and expansion project covers an area of 201 acres, with an investment of 24 million yuan. It was planned and designed by the Landscape Architecture Design Institute of Nanjing Forestry University. The park consists of six recreational areas — the main entrance plaza area, flower viewing area, lotus garden landscape area, children's activity area, theme plaza area, and waterside landscape area — as well as ten scenic viewing zones. It is a high-quality park that integrates leisure, entertainment, greening, and beautification.
