The Main Hall of the Iron Buddha Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

The Main Hall of the Iron Buddha Temple

Located 500 meters outside the west gate of Xiangyang City in Xiangfan, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. It is a hall dedicated to an iron statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, featuring a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, six pillars and five bays, with a nanmu (phoebe nanmu) wooden framework, hence also known as the Nanmu Hall.
