Diving Bay Beach is located on Danwangang Island off the coast of Leting, covering an area of 15 square kilometers. It faces the mainland from afar, forming a double-tiered coastline that creates a rare water-and-land spectacle in the world. The island’s coastal side has a gentle slope, making it a high-quality natural beach. Surrounded by the sea on all sides, it boasts a delightful interplay of sunlight, seawater, and sandy shores. The water and sky merge into one, evoking the poetic imagery of “sunset clouds flying with a lone duck, autumn waters blending seamlessly into the boundless sky,” a truly enchanting sight. Currently, the island is being developed with an investment of $150 million by Hong Kong Coastal Group. Major projects include coastal tourism, health and vacation resorts, education centers, convention and exhibition centers, marine and land sports, sightseeing fisheries, and eco-friendly residential areas, making it a sea-and-nature-close holiday destination in North China. To date, 200 million yuan has been invested, completing infrastructure such as access roads to the island, internal roads, fishery facilities, yacht sightseeing piers, a comprehensive building, commercial streets, fishing villages, restaurants, wooden cabins, as well as utilities including water, electricity, and telecommunications. Planned future projects include seawater desalination, botanical gardens, hot spring resorts, villa complexes, beachfront lodging buildings, Xiangyun Bay Beach lodging buildings, and supporting facilities.

Diving Bay Beach is a large-scale tourist resort integrating “sports, leisure, sea bathing, summer retreat, vacation, entertainment, and shopping.” It features comprehensive functions and first-class facilities, rising along the coast of the Bohai Sea and standing proudly on the island. It incorporates the essence of Hong Kong-style architecture, harmoniously blending culture and nature into a picturesque landscape, and is becoming a shining jewel on the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan-Qinhuangdao golden tourism route.
