Qīnglóng Temple Fort is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Qīnglóng Temple Fort

Located in Yángliǔchí Village, Rénhépíng Town, Wǔfēng County. It was built during the Republican era by the 79th Nationalist Army to resist Japanese aggression and by Xiang Dānchí, the then district head of the Nationalist Party, for defense purposes. The fort covers an area of 40.3 square meters. It has three levels, all constructed from blue stone blocks and slabs, and is roughly square in shape. It is 6.4 meters wide, 7 meters high, and the walls are 0.60 meters thick. Both the second level of the walls feature trapezoidal firing holes and observation windows, and the top has sentry battlements. It stands as an important relic of the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese imperialist aggression. (Fifth Batch)
