Located in Wufeng Township, Hsinchu County, this area is shrouded in mist, boasts enchanting night views, and can truly be described as a hidden paradise. During cherry blossom season, visitors can also admire the stunning blooms, with pink hues dotting the mountains in the distance. Wufeng Township is an indigenous township home to over 3,000-meter-high mountains, divided into four villages: Dayi, Taoshan, Huayuan, and Zhulin. The residents consist mainly of the Atayal and Saisiyat tribes, along with a small number of Hakka and post-war Chinese immigrants, making it the least-populated high-mountain township in Hsinchu County. The area boasts abundant natural environments, ethnic cultures, and historical sites. One of its most culturally distinctive events is the biennial Saisiyat Pas-ta’ai (Ritual of the Short People), which attracts countless domestic and international tourists to the tribe.
