Last year, Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je completed the ride from "Fugui Cape Lighthouse to Eluanbi Lighthouse" in 28 hours, successfully conquering the "Cycling Dual-Tower Day Challenge" and sparking a trend in the cycling community. However, the Dual-Tower challenge, which is difficult for the average person to accomplish, now has an "easy version" in Taipei City—taking just 2 hours to complete. Initiated by the social enterprise JoiiUp (Hong Ying Technology), which promotes healthy exercise, the "JoiiSports Taipei Dual-Tower" event invites Taipei residents and tourists to use the JoiiSports APP. By maintaining an average speed below 20 km/h along Nanjing East-West Road, participants will traverse the historic "Tower" City Street and "Tower" Leisure Road, experiencing Taipei’s unique cultural heritage and local culinary delights on foot.

City TravelXA New Route for Light Exercise Complete the "Taipei Dual-Tower Day" in Two Hours!
The "Taipei Dual-Towers" refer to "Tower City Street" in Datong District and "Tower Leisure Road" in Songshan District. Nanjing East-West Road in Taipei City runs through both towers, presenting four distinct vibes from west to east: historical culture, sightseeing travel, urban finance, and local life. This initiative not only encourages citizens to deeply engage with urban culture through light exercise but also serves as a new option for foreign visitors to experience Taipei. Using the JoiiSports APP, participants can choose either Tower Leisure Road or Tower City Street as their starting point and take on the Taipei Dual-Towers challenge on foot, by bike, or via YouBike, all at an average speed below 20 km/h.
