Come here for riverside barbecue! Wufengqi Waterfall is wonderfully cool.

The mountaintop is perpetually shrouded in clouds and mist, with mountain spring water continuously cascading down, forming a three-tiered waterfall. Stretching 100 meters in total from top to bottom, it is divided into three levels. Hiking trails allow visitors to climb among the peaks, with the trail ending at the top tier of the three-tiered waterfall. The water flow at the top tier is relatively gentle, surrounded by dense woods, where many visitors take off their shoes, roll up their pants, and play in the water to enjoy the refreshingly cool temperature.

Visiting Wufengqi Waterfall, you’ll find a refreshing, lush green staircase of stone steps accompanied by the soothing sound of flowing water. The leisurely atmosphere also offers health benefits, as it’s said that the negative ion concentration near the waterfall is about 20,000 per unit, which contributes to improved health. The source environment of Wufengqi Waterfall is quite serene. By walking uphill along the small path next to the Earth God Temple at the entrance for about an hour, you’ll come across several small ponds with incredibly sweet-tasting water. Many hikers often collect this water to brew tea after descending the mountain, hence the area is also known as “Wufeng Secluded Valley.”

Take National Freeway 5 – exit at Toucheng Interchange – drive along Section 7 to Section 5 of Jiaoxi Road – head toward Deyang Road – then take Wufeng Road.

Take the Taiwan Railways North-Link Line to Jiaoxi Railway Station, then walk approximately 3 kilometers toward Wufeng Road to reach Wufengqi Waterfall.
