The most vibrant series of tourism events in Hsinchu County — the “2010 Hsinchu County Mountains-Seas-Lakes Tourism Season” — is here this year. With the theme centered around “mountains, seas, and lakes,” the event is organized around three major concepts: “wellness, hospitality, and deep experience,” and is launched in conjunction with the special offer program of the “2010 Taiwan Tourist Shuttle” free sightseeing bus. This allows visitors to explore a complete itinerary across Zhubei, Xinfeng, Beipu, Emei, Jianshi, and Wufeng, experiencing activities such as a thousand-person Lei Tea gathering, eco-heritage sites, and hot spring cuisine.

The “2010 Hsinchu County Mountains-Seas-Lakes Tourism Season” is divided into three major themes: “Wellness, Hospitality, and Deep Experience.” The “Wellness in Hsinchu – Soar Over Sea and Sky This Summer” main event will be held at 3 PM on October 24th at the Xinzhuawu Cultural Cluster Preservation Area, featuring a rock concert with well-known artists such as Jolin Tsai, Rainbow Times, Forward Band, and Hebe Tien, bringing joy to the public this summer.

Additionally, on October 30th, an “Eco-Heritage Exploration and Leisure Tour” guided ecological and heritage tour is planned at the Xinfeng Hongmao Port Recreation Area. The entire activity will be conducted via bicycle, led by professional guides, taking families and travelers on an in-depth tour of natural and cultural sites such as the Xinfeng Mangrove Forest, Xinzhuawu Hakka Cultural Preservation Area, and Zhubei Lotus Temple, promoting a healthy and wellness-focused tourism and leisure experience in Zhubei and Xinfeng. The “Hospitable Hsinchu – Lei Tea, Traditional Opera, and Ancient Path Tour” main event combines with the “Beipu Hakka Festival.” At 3 PM on October 16th at the Beipu Humanities Square, the first-ever and grand-scale “Thousand-Person Lei Tea” event will take place. Lei Tea masters from the Beipu Charm Business District will also provide on-site guidance, helping participants experience the joy of making Lei Tea firsthand, learn about the wonders of this distinctive Hakka delicacy, and enjoy a performance by the New Yongguang Opera Troupe’s First Troupe, offering a unique taste of Beipu’s charm.

The “Explore Hsinchu – Love the Native Land and Beautiful Hot Springs” main event promotes in-depth travel to the indigenous villages of Jianshi and Wufeng. On November 13th, during the “Jianshi Beauty Hot Spring & Gourmet Tour,” visitors will explore the renowned Neiwan Characteristic Business District, experiencing Neiwan cuisine and culture at attractions such as Neiwan Station and the Liu Hsing-chin Comic Museum, and enjoying a hot spring treat offered by the highest-voted hot spring business selected through an online poll. Another itinerary, “General Loves Snow – Wufeng Culture Tour,” is scheduled for two sessions: November 20–21 and November 27–28. It covers famous attractions such as the Saisiyat Cultural Museum, Guanwu National Forest Recreation Area, Snow Mountain Ranch, Zhang Xueliang’s Former Residence, and Sanmao Dream House, ensuring visitors fully experience the most distinctive natural and cultural beauty of Wufeng.
