The ski resort was invested with approximately five million yuan, covering an area of over 60,000 square meters, and features artificial snowmaking. It has one beginner slope, one intermediate slope, and one tubing run, totaling 400 meters in length. With a total skiing area of 40,000 square meters, it is the first urban ski resort in China. The resort offers both snowboarding and alpine skiing, as well as a dedicated children’s snow play area. Snow activities are abundant—you can not only ride a snowmobile to experience the thrill of speed, but also enjoy family-friendly fun such as snow tubing, ice sledding, spinning tops on ice, dog sledding, snowball fights, and DIY snow sculptures. Wandao Mountain Ski Resort is the perfect place for outdoor activities, fitness, and leisure. The resort has hosted three editions of the Tangshan Snow Culture Festival and also accommodates holiday events such as Christmas, New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival, and Valentine’s Day.
