Golden and Silver Beach Bathing Beach is located in Leting County, Tangshan City. Approved by the Ministry of Forestry in May 1993, it covers an area of 29,400 mu and is the largest natural seawater bathing beach in Tangshan City. It is an ideal destination for visitors to enjoy sea bathing, sand bathing, sunbathing, fishing, beachcombing, playing in the waves, beach volleyball, barbecues, and other activities. It is also a favorite habitat for fish, shrimp, crabs, and shellfish, boasting abundant resources and a wide variety of species, making it a natural spot for fishing and hunting. Here you can enjoy the “Five Baths”: sea bathing, sand bathing, sunbathing, eco-bathing, and air bathing. Recreational sports such as beach volleyball and beach soccer are also available. To the west of the bathing beach lies the Erpai Gan Fishing Wharf, which attracts numerous merchants during the harvest season, allowing visitors to join fishermen and set sail.

The Four-sided Buddha is a major attraction at Golden and Silver Beach Bathing Beach. Originally a meteorite that fell from the sky, Buddha statues were later carved on all four sides—each statue taller than a person and nearly three feet wide. The Buddha figures are vividly lifelike, standing in peaceful prayer with hands clasped, seated separately on stone pedestals on each side, intended to protect local fishermen and ensure their safe voyages. Later, due to historical reasons, the statues were buried deep under silt and mud, but were rediscovered during river dredging in the 1950s and 1960s. In addition, every year on the 19th day of the sixth lunar month, Leting fishermen hold a unique “Fishermen’s Festival” at Golden and Silver Beach, dedicated to worshipping the God of Fishermen and praying for a bountiful harvest.
