Leting Coastal Tourist Area

The Leting Coastal Tourist Area is situated in Leting County, located in the central section of the Qinhuangdao–Tangshan–Cangzhou Bohai Rim Development Zone. To the east, it borders the Changli Golden Coast and Nandaihe Scenic Area, and it lies approximately 220 kilometers from Tianjin and 280 kilometers from Beijing. Covering a total area of 88 square kilometers, the scenic area includes islands such as Shijutuo, Yao’er Tuo, and Dawangang, as well as attractions like Bihaiyu Field, Jinjin Beach Bathing Beach, Jianggezhuang Forest Park, Tanggang Port, and the former residence of Li Dazhao. The area features serene islands, clear seas, lush trees, abundant grass, fragrant flowers, and birdsong. It is a leisure and resort destination integrating eco-tourism, natural wilderness, and various recreational activities such as sea bathing, sunbathing, sand bathing, and beach fishing.

Leting enjoys the reputation of being the “Land of Abundance in Eastern Hebei.” It is the hometown of revolutionary pioneer Li Dazhao and has been designated by the National Ministry of Agriculture as the “Hometown of Fresh Peaches in China.” The “Northern Great Port,” Jingtang Port, fulfills the dream of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, a forerunner of China’s democratic revolution.
