Steam Locomotive Production Line
The Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Works was established in 1880. It is the birthplace of China’s first steam locomotive and remains the country’s only manufacturer of steam locomotives to this day. The factory currently has four workshops: 1. Boiler Workshop. 2. Machine Shop I, which mainly produces major components of steam locomotives. 3. Machine Shop II, which mainly produces minor components of steam locomotives. 4. Assembly Workshop.
