Jiangdu Palace

Located on the east side of Jianghan South Road in Shashi District, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. It is a famous Chu cultural relic site and tourist attraction in Jingzhou. Jiangdu Palace was the former residence of Qu Yuan, China’s great poet, where his immortal masterpiece "Heavenly Questions" was penned — hence the name "Heavenly Questions Pavilion" within the palace. In the sixth year of the Jiading era during the Southern Song Dynasty, Jiangdu Palace was rebuilt on the site of the former Temple to the Minister of the Three Families. It was renovated again in 1991, with the main structure being a three-story traditional Chinese building featuring upturned eaves, bracket sets, red walls, and green tiles, presenting a grand and majestic appearance.
