Jingchu Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills Inheritance Institute

The Jingchu Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills Inheritance Institute is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Jingchu Intangible Cultural Heritage Skills Inheritance Institute was jointly established by Jingzhou Entrepreneurship School and the city's intangible cultural heritage inheritance center. It also set up Hubei Shibajiang Culture Company, leveraging corporate operations and market forces to preserve intangible cultural heritage.

The Jingzhou Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Art Inheritance Institute is built upon the Jingzhou Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage and Folk Art Skills Inheritance Base (abbreviated as the Jingzhou “Intangible Cultural Heritage” Base). It is committed to the in-depth product development of Jingchu intangible cultural heritage skills, innovating distinctive Jingchu cultural products, and exploring a production-oriented, product-driven model for inheriting intangible cultural heritage skills. It is also the first private intangible cultural heritage museum in Hubei Province, the main campus of Jingzhou Community Science University, an intangible cultural heritage skills inheritance base in Hubei Province, and a youth science education activity base in Jingzhou.

The Jingzhou Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Art Inheritance Institute was approved for establishment by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center of the Jingzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture. Using Jingzhou Entrepreneurship School — a national model school for secondary vocational education reform and development — as its educational platform, it strives to explore the integration of Jingzhou’s intangible cultural heritage skills with modern vocational education, and is dedicated to promoting the development of Jingzhou’s creative cultural industry.
