Leting County Museum

The museum is located in the county cultural center, with a total investment of 700,000 yuan. It features an exhibition area of 600 square meters, a display line stretching 238 meters, and displays 463 cultural relics and specimens. Among them are 20 second-grade national cultural relics, 40 third-grade national cultural relics, and 192 photographs and charts.

The museum is primarily divided into three sections: the “Historical Relics Exhibition Hall,” the “Leting Folk Culture and Art Exhibition Hall,” and the “Leting Striving Forward Exhibition Hall.” The entire exhibition makes extensive use of modern photoelectric technology to present the development history of Leting, its distinctive regional cultural characteristics, and the enterprising spirit of its people from multiple perspectives and in a comprehensive manner.

The exhibition is divided into three halls: The first hall focuses on historical relics, including four parts—ancient civilization of Leting, Leting’s century-long glorious commercial history, Leting’s revolutionary struggle history, and Leting folk customs; the second hall showcases Leting folk culture and art, highlighting two vibrant local art forms rooted in Leting—the Leting shadow puppetry and the Leting drum; the third hall, “Leting Striving Forward,” mainly presents achievements made by Leting in social economy, infrastructure construction, tourism development, and social programs through a series of photographs.
