Tangshan Fushan Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Fushan Temple is located on the west side of the intersection between Guzhao Road and Gufan Road in Guye District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It was built in 2003 under the advocacy of Mr. Sun Hongwen, through the collective efforts and donations from the leaders of major small and medium-sized enterprises in Guye District as well as many devout worshippers. The reconstructed Fushan Temple includes a front square, a religious goods distribution area, a mountain gate, bell and drum towers, the Heavenly King Hall, the Mahavira Hall, the Scripture Depository, and monks' quarters and auxiliary halls. The architectural style adopts traditional Ming and Qing dynasty designs, presenting an elegant and classic appearance.

Historical records indicate that Fushan Temple was built during the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty. At that time, the area consisted only of scattered villages. A wealthy local man, returning home in glory in his later years, took a liking to this piece of land and constructed the temple, naming it Fushan Temple. The current Fushan Temple was newly built on the old site at the beginning of this century and is not the original structure. Historical texts do not specifically mention Fushan Temple, only making brief references. As a result, no one knows the exact appearance of the original temple, and the present structure is a modern recreation. According to elders, it was their forebears who said the original temple was destroyed in a war...

Fushan Temple has three levels of halls. Directly facing the mountain gate is the Heavenly King Hall, which enshrines the ancient Maitreya Buddha in the center, with Skanda the Protector behind, and the Four Heavenly Kings on both sides. The Maitreya Buddha is always smiling, welcoming all visitors, while Skanda appears majestic and heroic, and the Four Heavenly Kings are imposing. The second level hall is the Mahavira Hall, housing the Buddhas of the Three Ages, as well as the revered disciples Ānanda and Mahākāśyapa, surrounded by the Eighteen Arhats, each vividly crafted with lifelike expressions and spiritual presence. The third level hall is divided into two floors: the lower floor is the Guanyin Hall, and the upper floor is the Scripture Depository. The Guanyin Hall enshrines the Thousand-Armed Guanyin in the center, known for being extraordinarily responsive to prayers. The hall also houses a rare Jade Guanyin, the Medicine Buddha, and numerous Buddha statues consecrated by monastics. The Scripture Depository contains numerous Buddhist treasures, including hundreds of types of scriptures and a total collection of over ten thousand volumes.
