Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area

The Caofeidian Wetland Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Caofeidian Wetland Park includes six islands in Caofei Lake and their surrounding shores, an area of about 4,000 acres on the south side of Caofei Lake, a 3,000-acre wetland maze to the west of Shuanglong River, as well as other wetland areas. It mainly involves the construction of tourist and resort facilities, high-end business hotels and supporting amenities, along with the protective development of the wetlands.

The construction of the wetland park creates wetland landscapes such as rivers, marshes, and ponds, integrating functions such as wetland tourism, recreational entertainment, and wetland education into a single wetland educational park. It combines science education with ecological recreation to enhance public awareness and understanding of ecological wetlands, while seeking public support and participation in wetland conservation. It also provides citizens with a daily ecological leisure destination.

An environmental protection demonstration zone is planned within the park. Various eco-environmental technologies are integrated with the wetland park’s ecosystem, which not only showcases different environmental protection techniques but also enables the wetland park to form a self-sustaining ecosystem.
