Santingyuan

Located on the north side of the main entrance of Beihé Park, it was renovated from the old park. The garden retains the original three glazed-roof pavilions, hence the name "Santingyuan" (Three Pavilion Garden). Centered around the “Three Flowers of Eastern Hebei” folk arts, the three pavilions are named Shangxin Pavilion (Pavilion of Delight), Yuemu Pavilion (Pavilion of Pleasure to the Eye), and Xinwen Pavilion (Pavilion of Joyful Hearing), corresponding to the three art forms of shadow puppetry, Pingju opera, and Leting drum. In the center is the Cheng Zhaocai Memorial Square, featuring a bust of Cheng Zhaocai, the founder of Pingju opera. The Sanzhihua (Three Flowers) Square on the east side displays a themed sculpture of the “Three Flowers of Eastern Hebei.” The garden is shaded by lush trees and winding paths, and is equipped with a waterside platform, shaded pergolas, a boat dock, and the Bohai Daughter sculpture, making it the core scenic area of Beihé Park.
