Located in Tangzitou Town, Yutian County, 2 kilometers south of National Highway 102. The total investment for the project is 1.5 billion yuan, of which the first phase investment amounts to 648 million yuan. The first phase will include a ski resort for both alpine and snowboarding, holiday cabins and villas, a quick-service business hotel, a hot spring club, a sports and fitness leisure park, a motorsports field, an RV campground, and more, with a total construction area of 81,500 square meters. The ski resort, the key project in the first phase of the industrial park, will be the first in China to feature separate zones for alpine skiing and snowboarding. According to the plan, the ski resort is set to be completed and open in November this year. Once operational, it will be able to accommodate 8,000 skiers simultaneously, making it the largest and most comprehensive ski tourism resort around Beijing, and also serving as a training base for the Winter Sports Training Center of the General Administration of Sport of China. All ski resort facilities will meet international unified standards. The ski runs will stretch a total of 30 kilometers, featuring 28 runs of beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, along with a Nordic-style ski equipment service center. Among these, the Dongshantou alpine ski area will have two 1,600-meter advanced runs and a 4-person pursuit course. The snow park designed for snowboarding enthusiasts will offer a full range of features including various-sized jumps, rainbow bridges, snowboard walls, differently shaped rails, half-pipes, and a 4-person high-speed chairlift. The Nanshan alpine and Nordic combined ski area will feature five runs at advanced, upper-intermediate, and intermediate levels. A fully enclosed beginner teaching zone will provide a safe and efficient learning environment. Facilities imported from Italy such as snow carpets, surface lifts, and a four-person sightseeing chairlift will be available. Other amenities include snow tubing runs, snowmobile tracks, a children’s snow park, and a pet-friendly snow park. The second phase, with a total investment of 852 million yuan, covers an area of 1,659 mu (approx. 110.6 hectares), with a construction area of 304,500 square meters. It will include the China Garden Five-Star Themed Resort, the Ethnic Garden Five-Star Themed Resort, Yulong New Village, the Base Camp for Outdoor Training, a bar street that never sleeps, a Buddhist meditation base, internal bus stations, gas stations, and public parking and service facilities. The launch of the Jingdong Yulongwan Sports and Leisure Industrial Park is of great significance in building the “Beijing-Tianjin Circular Tourism and Leisure Industry Belt” and filling the gap in winter leisure tourism for Tangshan. This project has been included as a key development in Hebei Province’s 12th Five-Year Plan for Tourism.

The ski resort serves as the flagship of the entire sports industry park. It is the first in China to feature separate zones for alpine and snowboarding, and also the largest and most comprehensive ski tourism resort around Beijing. It has been designated by the Snow and Ice Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China as a winter ski training base, capable of hosting high-standard international and domestic competitions. Twelve ski runs, pipelines, and chairlifts of the ski resort project have all been completed and opened to the public on New Year's Day 2013. During the 2013 and 2014 ski seasons, the resort received over 100,000 visitors with operating revenue of 20 million yuan, filling the gap in Tangshan’s winter leisure tourism. The hot spring club has completed its main exterior renovation and is currently undergoing interior work, with the first floor already in use. A total of 120 holiday cabins have been built, among which 70 have completed foundation work and 50 have completed main structure construction. Two hotel apartment buildings have finished their main structure and are undergoing exterior finishing, with plans for operation in July this year.

Tangzitou Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yutian County. In 1956, it was formed by merging Xiaoshanwangzhuang Township and Sanletai Township into Tangzitou Township. In 1958, it belonged to Caitingqiao Commune, then in 1961, Tangzitou Commune was established. In 1983, it became a township, and in 1993, it was upgraded to Tangzitou Town. Located in the northwest part of the county, it is 9.5 kilometers from the county seat, bordering Jixian County of Tianjin in the north. The terrain is mostly mountainous. Covering an area of 56.9 square kilometers with a population of 19,000, it is traversed by the Daqin Railway and the Yuzun Highway (western route).
