The earth from Huihu Lake gave rise to another ecological landscape project in Fengnan — Zhaofeng Mountain. Huihu Lake and Zhaofeng Mountain together form an ecologically rich setting embraced by water and mountains, making the dream of living near both mountain and water come true for the people of flatland Fengnan. Covering an area of 150 acres and standing 25.8 meters high, the mountain features a hexagonal scenic pavilion at its summit and boasts 100,000 square meters of green space, with the entire surface of the mountain landscaped to high standards. This project, with an investment of 70 million yuan, commenced on February 26, 2010, and was completed and opened to the public on June 1.
