The Bohai International Conference Center is situated within the Caofeidian Wetland National 4A-level Tourist Attraction. To the east lies the vast Caofei Lake, and to the west it neighbors the Shuanglong River and the Caofeidian Wetland Park Club. Covering an area of 500 acres, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and a total construction area of 120,000 square meters, the center includes a grand hotel, seafarers’ club, gymnasium, leisure center, expert apartment buildings, lakeside villa complex, and business office buildings. In 2009, it was honored with the title of “Five-Star Tourism Hotel.” The hotel offers comprehensive service facilities, including 30 medium and small-sized meeting rooms, as well as an 880-square-meter Golden Hall equipped with modern lighting, sound systems, multimedia projectors, and quadraphonic simultaneous interpretation equipment. There are multiple restaurants serving local cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Beijing specialty dishes, and Western food, which can accommodate 1,000 people for meetings, dining, and lodging simultaneously. The sports center features a variety of ball games such as basketball, tennis, billiards, table tennis, and badminton, meeting the fitness needs of all guests. To date, it has successfully hosted over 20 high-profile large-scale conferences, including the Caofeidian Port-Adjacent Industry International Cooperation Conference, the National Suburban Economy Annual Conference, the Cross-Strait Economic Cooperation Conference, and the First Caofeidian Forum, fully demonstrating its capability to host large international conferences.

The main hotel features an 1,867-square-meter lobby that soars from floor to ceiling, adorned with a crystal chandelier over 30 meters long, its layers resembling a flourishing lotus in full bloom—radiant and magnificent. Within the hotel stands a golden statue of the goddess Caofei, seemingly recounting an ancient and beautiful legend to visitors, offering both a sight to behold and a memory to cherish.

In October 2009, the First Caofeidian Forum was held at the Bohai International Conference Center, greatly enhancing its visibility and reputation.
