Caofeidian Wetland Maze

The Caofeidian Wetland Maze is located west of the Caofeidian Wetland Park Club and south of the Wetland Sightseeing Highway, covering an area of 3,000 acres. It consists of four parts: the Wetland Maze Area, Reception Center, Wetland Exploration Area, and Fishing Center, and is a renowned attraction within the nationally recognized 4A-level Caofeidian Scenic Area.

The Wetland Maze Area uses design elements from the Taiji and Bagua patterns to integrate existing fishponds and reed beds, creating a network of maze-like waterways. Visitors can take a boat ride through the maze and enjoy the pleasure of exploring the wetlands. From the observation deck, you can take in the vast wetland scenery and witness the spectacular sight of “myriad birds gathering and cranes dancing with gulls calling.”

The Reception Center covers an area of 600 square meters and primarily provides essential services such as visitor reception, dining, shopping, and parking. On the west side of the Reception Center, there are three docks where 20 boats are stationed at each, allowing you to personally navigate and explore the maze.

The Wetland Exploration Area is a leisure space designed for visitors to closely interact with the wetland’s ecosystem. It mainly features wooden boardwalks and platforms, offering a walking experience that brings you closer to the wetlands while preserving their pristine ecological balance.

The Fishing Center is located at the southwest and southeast corners of the maze, where you can fully enjoy the pleasure of natural fishing.

Entering the Wetland Maze, you can admire the natural beauty of swaying reeds and shimmering waters, as well as experience the adventurous fun of winding paths and hidden trails. It is a wetland experience center full of knowledge, fun, and challenges.

Electric Boat – 120 RMB per hour

Transportation: Take the Tangcao Expressway and exit at the Caofeidian Wetland exit, then drive about 4 kilometers west.
