Huangtai Mountain Park

Spanning 34.21 hectares and hosting more than 100 plant species, Huangtai Mountain Park is located next to the national-level water conservancy scenic area — Huangtai Lake Scenic Area. By combining the gentle aquatic landscape of Huangtai Lake with the rugged mountainous terrain of Huangtai Mountain, and based on the harmonious principle of “mountain and water complementing each other, strength blending with softness,” the park has been designed with viewing spots including the Lotus Plaza Zone, Forest Leisure Zone, Cultural & Entertainment Zone, Children’s Activity Zone, Waterside Activity Zone, Natural Ecology Zone, and the Cultural Museum Garden.

Upon entering the park, visitors can admire the beautiful scenery formed by northern-style flora, as well as discover unique rock formations such as the Dippersone Rock — resembling a stone inkstone carved into the cliff — and the cliff inscription “Qing She,” which reflects Buddhist culture. From the summit of Huangtai Mountain, one can gaze into the distance to view landscapes such as Valley Shadow Dragon, West Ferry at Dusk, Spirit Spring Spouting Jade, Cloud Temple Morning Bell, Misty Mountain Layers of Green, Luan River Dragging Blue, and East Ridge Clear Haze. Moreover, the majestic panoramic view of Huangtai Lake unfolds before your eyes, offering an unobstructed and breathtaking sight.

In 2011, in conjunction with the relocation of the Vocational Education Center and the renovation project of Xinlizhuang, our city invested 120 million yuan to implement the 390-acre expansion project of Huangtai Mountain Park. The project delves into historical and cultural resources such as the ancient capital of the Yellow Emperor being in Qian’an and the origins of 62 Chinese surnames tracing back to Qian’an. It includes the construction of cultural attractions such as the Ancestral Court Culture Plaza, Xuanyuan Pavilion, and the Forest of Origins of 62 Surnames. Additionally, high-end resort hotels, sports and fitness centers, and art clubs are also planned. These efforts aim to establish Huangtai Mountain Park as a central urban park and a significant tourist attraction.
