Qianxi Luanhe Wetland

The Luanhe River meanders through Qianxi, creating picturesque scenery along its banks and leaving behind untouched, auspicious land. The history of a great river is often the history of a nation or a people. The same holds true for a region. The people of Qianxi are closely tied to the Luanhe, regarding the river as a dragon and venerating it as a sacred totem.

As the Luanhe River enters the section from Diaoyuyan to Gaotaizi in Qianxi County, it reaches the downstream Luanhe Valley. Here, towering green mountains line both banks, vast primeval forests stretch as far as the eye can see, and the wetland landscape unfolds in distinct layers. The culture of the Luanhe River is prominently displayed here: the Xizhai Neolithic ancient human site, the Wuhu Mountain imperial hunting ground, and others have laid a profound cultural foundation for the development of the Luanhe Valley. Today, the Luanhe River is home to a significant population of wild birds year-round, forming a notable natural spectacle. By transforming the Luanhe landscape and creating extensive wetland areas, it can attract even more bird species to inhabit the region, establishing a prime tourist attraction.

Currently, the recreational activities available at the Luanhe Wetland include boating, pedal boats, electric boats, motorboats, kayaking, parasailing on the water, and valley rafting.
