Luanan North River Park

The North River is an important part of the urban development framework of "one belt, one loop, two cores, two axes, and three zones" in the Luanan North River Greening and Waterscape Belt. In early 2008, the Luanan County Party Committee and County Government proposed the renovation and expansion of North River Park, with the North River Bridge and North River Ecological Garden as pioneering projects for the North River New District. The North River Park project was designed by Beijing University of Landscape Architecture and was completed to a high standard, covering an area of 2,500 acres. The North River Park has a total area of 88.3 hectares, including 41.8 hectares of water surface, with a total investment of 150 million yuan.

The North River is a beautiful scenic highlight of Luanan County and a unique resource for urban development and tourism growth. The North River Water City was voted by the people of Tangshan as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Tangshan." North River Park is another fruitful achievement of the Luanan County Party Committee and County Government in implementing public welfare projects.
