Yanshan Scenic Area

The Yanshan Scenic Area is situated on the southern bank of the Luan River in the ancient town of Luanzhou and functions as a vital supporting project within the Luanzhou Ancient Town initiative. Officially launched in November 2009, it opened to visitors in 2011. The primary construction efforts involved the reconstruction of the Yanshan Wenfeng Pagoda and the Bixia Yuanjun Temple, along with the development of comprehensive scenic facilities. These supporting facilities mainly include the overall planning of the scenic area, as well as projects such as the mountain gate, scenic pavilions, pedestrian pathways up the mountain, squares, and protective structures. The establishment and opening of the Yanshan Scenic Area represent a perfect integration of scenic development and cultural heritage preservation, further enhancing the cultural taste and urban character of Luan County, while also bolstering the local cultural tourism industry.
