Bodhi Island Zhituo Garden

Bodhi Island is located on the coast of the Bohai Sea in Leting County, covering an area of 2.1 square kilometers (3,133 mu). It is the “largest” island in North China and the largest ecological island closest to Beijing. With its nearly untouched natural environment that has never been disturbed or damaged by human activity, the island’s ecological landscape and island charm complement each other, forming a uniquely charming tourist destination in the Bohai Bay. The island boasts stunning natural scenery and beautiful cultural landscapes, and is recognized as a provincial-level eco-tourism demonstration area, often described as “ancient, serene, mysterious, wild, and tranquil.”

The Zhituo Garden features various scattered sculptures, most of which are related to Buddhism, though the craftsmanship is rather underwhelming.
