Fulong Village Scenic Area

Fulong Village is located in Peishan Village, Lixi, only 4 kilometers away from Xianglong Cave.

This village was built by the Shu army during the Three Kingdoms period.

During the Great Revolution, veteran proletarian revolutionaries Comrade He Long and Comrade Li Xiannian led 50 Red Army soldiers, in coordination with the Jingmen North Mountain guerrilla unit, in a bloody battle against the Nationalist army. According to local elders, many of our soldiers sacrificed their lives heroically here.

Lixi Town: Lixi Town, Dongbao District, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, is situated in the transitional zone between the western mountainous region of Hubei and the Jianghan Plain. The town gets its name from its location at the confluence of two streams and the presence of a chestnut forest. Lixi is an ancient town with administrative roots dating back over 800 years.
