Jiuxia Town: Jiuxia Township is located in the southern part of Yichuan County, shaped like a triangle. The township government is situated in Jiuxia Village, which is 26 kilometers from the county seat. The township governs 27 administrative villages, 6 natural villages, 214 villager groups, and has a population of 35,558. It covers a total area of 71 square kilometers, with 3,129 hectares of arable land and over 30,000 mu of barren hills and slopes. The township is divided from west to east into three zones: river valley, hills, and heavily hilly shallow mountains. The overall terrain is characterized as “four valleys, five ridges, and one valley,” with shallow mountains and hills accounting for about three-fifths of the total area, making it a traditional agricultural hub.
