Gezhai Town: Gezhai Township is located in the shallow mountainous and hilly area in the southern part of Yichuan County. It borders Jiugao Mountain to the south and adjoins Baishu Township of Ruyang County. To the north, it neighbors Baiyuan Township, to the east it connects with Caidian Township of Ruyang County, and to the west it links with Jiuhou Township. To the northwest, across the Yi River, it faces Zhongxi Village of Minggao Town. It governs 19 administrative villages, 41 natural villages, 192 villager groups, 8,347 households, and 35,750 people, covering a total area of 76 square kilometers with 2,706 hectares of arable land.
