Located within the Ancient Tomb Museum, entry requires paying one yuan for a pair of shoe covers. The exhibits inside are very rich, showcasing brick walls and murals from tombs of various dynasties. It’s quite interesting to explore slowly with an audio guide.

The Mural Exhibition Hall of the Luoyang Ancient Tomb Museum displays tomb murals from multiple dynasties, including the Western Han to the Jin and Yuan periods. Works such as the “Celestial Ascension” from the Western Han, the “Noble Banquet and Hunting Scenes” and “Royal Processions” from the Eastern Han, the “Guardians of the Corridor” from the Wei and Jin, and the “Elegant Attire of Tomb Owners” from the Tang, Song, Jin, and Yuan dynasties all represent the cultural elements—thoughts, beliefs, aesthetics, and more—of their respective eras.
