The MRT Songshan Line officially opened this Saturday (November 15) at 6 a.m., running through eight stations including Songshan, Nanjing Sanmin, Taipei Arena, Nanjing Fuxing, Songjiang Nanjing, Zhongshan, Beimen, and Ximen. The areas around each station feature well-known attractions and commercial districts such as Raohe Night Market, Wufenpu Commercial District, and Ximending. The line passes through what can be considered one of the prime areas of Taipei City.

During the design phase, the MRT Songshan Line incorporated broad public art concepts through architectural and landscape designs. These embody artistic ideas representing regional culture and environmental characteristics, using color schemes, themes, and sub-themes to give each station a distinct appearance.
