Longquan Garden Scenic Area is a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction.

Longquan Garden Scenic Area is located 10 kilometers south of Xinxiang City. The village where it is situated, Longquan Village, is a National Civilized Village, a National Advanced Primary Party Organization, and a National Model Village for Democracy and Legal System. The village Party secretary, Liang Xiuchang, is a National Model Worker, as well as an Outstanding Party Affairs Worker and Outstanding Ideological and Political Worker in Henan Province. The scenic area covers an area of 1,500 acres, with abundant underground water resources and superior environmental conditions. It mainly grows premium fruits, high-end flowers and plants, and various pollution-free vegetables. It is a comprehensive park integrating tourism, leisure and entertainment, premium product display, research and development, science and technology demonstration, achievement transformation, and education and training. The scenic area features over 20 attractions including a Green Corridor, fruit and vegetable picking, farming experiences, flower appreciation, village history exhibitions, agricultural culture, filial piety education, displays of traditional water-lifting tools, and amusement parks. It is an ideal destination for vacationing, leisure, entertainment, and traditional cultural education. In 2004, the park was named a “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site,” and in 2011, it was recognized as a “National Demonstration Site for Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism.” It holds titles such as “National AAA-level Tourist Attraction,” “National Youth Agricultural Science Popularization Demonstration Base,” “Henan Provincial Agricultural Standardization Production Base,” and “Henan Provincial One Village One Product Talent Introduction Demonstration Base.” The “Longquan Village Brand Golden Pear” produced here has been awarded as one of China’s Top Ten Famous Fruit and Vegetable Brands and is a Famous Trademark of Henan Province. Certified as a “Green Food” by the China Green Food Development Center, the Longquan Village Brand Golden Pear has also won honors such as the “Second Prize for Beijing Olympic Recommended Fruits,” “China Local Specialty,” and “Henan Provincial Famous Brand Agricultural Product.” The park also serves as an experimental base for college students from institutions such as Henan Institute of Science and Technology and Xinxiang University.

On August 19, 2005, the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission visited the park and spoke highly of its work. He issued the important directive: “To develop the rural economy and help farmers increase their incomes and achieve prosperity, structural adjustment remains the key.” Other Party and state leaders, including , , have also inspected and provided guidance, all offering high praise.
