Xinxiang Nantaihang Tourism Resort is located on the northwest side of Xinxiang City. The Beijing-Guangzhou and Taishi railways intersect here, while the Shiwu High-Speed Railway, National Highway 107, and the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway run through the area, providing highly accessible transportation and making it an ideal destination for landscape tourism. Covering an area of 268 square kilometers, the Nantaihang Tourism Resort receives 4.7 million visitors annually. The resort includes four national 4A-level scenic spots, one national 3A-level scenic spot, two national geoparks, and one national forest park.

To effectively address issues such as fragmented management and inefficient operation of tourism resources in Xinxiang’s Nantaihang area, and to strengthen the integration and management of tourism resources and industrial operations, as early as 2012, Xinxiang began planning the consolidation of Nantaihang tourism resources. The Xinxiang Nantaihang Tourism Resort Management Committee and Nantaihang Tourism (Group) Co., Ltd. were established. Earlier this year, the official unveiling of Nantaihang Tourism Group marked a new stage in the development of Nantaihang tourism.

The year 2014 marked the inaugural year of the integration of Xinxiang Nantaihang tourism resources. Under the directive of “resource integration,” Xinxiang Nantaihang Tourism Group successively took over management of scenic areas including Baligou, Wanxianshan, Tianjieshan, Jiulianshan, Qiugou, Qiwangzhai, and Guanshan, and carried out systematic integration according to a unified plan, development, management, and operation model. This integration not only facilitated ticket purchasing and sightseeing for tourists but also effectively resolved the issues of small-scale, scattered, and disorganized tourism resources in the Nantaihang Resort, ushering in a new chapter of leapfrog development for Nantaihang tourism.
