The ruins of the Ancient Yong City are located in Dianhouying, about 12 kilometers northwest of Xinxiang City, and are said to be the capital of the ancient State of Yong during the Zhou Dynasty. Historical records mention that there was a Pudu Bridge south of the village, and east of the bridge stood a stone stele inscribed with nine large characters: “The area around Dajia Store was the site of the Ancient Yong City.” In 1978, local residents unearthed two piles of ancient city bricks on the north side of the road at the western end of Dajia Store Village. To the southwest of present-day Dianhouying lies Phoenix Terrace, and outside the southern gate lies the Horse-Watering Pond of Wang Gan, a Ming Dynasty centurion. It is one of the oldest villages in Xinxiang County.
