Tomb of Shaokang

The Tomb of Shaokang is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Taikang County.

The Tomb of Shaokang is located 20 meters west of Wangling Village, Chengguan Town, in the southeastern part of Taikang County. In 1989, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People's Government of Taikang County.

The original tomb mound was about 4 meters high with a circumference of over 80 meters, and was roughly circular in shape. The earthen mound was removed by members of Wangling Village, and the tomb was largely leveled. In recent years, local residents voluntarily brought soil to rebuild it into a small tomb mound. Although it has been traditionally said to be the tomb of Emperor Shaokang of the Xia Dynasty, the site contains numerous relics and tomb bricks with geometric patterns, indicating that it is undoubtedly a Han Dynasty tomb.
