Tainan Deyuanpi Dutch Village to Start Charging Site Fees for Camping on the 25th

Deyuanpi Dutch Village is located in Liuying District, Tainan City, combining rich pond and wetland ecological environments with green spaces. The park features an authentically imported pure wind-powered VAGGS Dutch windmill, specially shipped from the Netherlands. Modeled after the hometown of the renowned painter Van Gogh, the village showcases natural and rustic architectural characteristics, including structures such as the Van Gogh Bridge and red-brick bridges. Starting tomorrow (the 25th), site fees will be charged for those using the camping area.

The camping and barbecue areas within the park are equipped with water, electricity, and sanitation facilities. Coupled with convenient transportation and a quiet, light-pollution-free environment, it has become a favorite spot for camping enthusiasts. After nearly two years of promotion, the Tainan City Government’s Tourism and Travel Bureau will begin charging site fees starting July 25. The bureau stated that the camping area at Deyuanpi Dutch Village includes “car campsites” and “pallet campsites,” while the barbecue area offers “brick barbecue zones” and “simple barbecue zones.” With complete facilities, diverse options, and a beautiful environment, it is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle—only a site usage fee is charged.

National Freeway No. 3’s Liuying Interchange was just opened to traffic on July 19. The travel time from National Freeway No. 3’s Wushantou Interchange to Deyuanpi Dutch Village has been shortened from 25 minutes to just 5–10 minutes, making the trip to Deyuanpi Dutch Village even more convenient. In addition, Liuying District is also home to nationally renowned attractions such as the Baweng Dairy Farming Special Zone, Nanyuan Leisure Farm, Jianshanpi Jiangnan Resort, and Taikang Green Tunnel. Via National Freeway No. 3, visitors can also easily access other destinations including Baihe Guanziling Hot Spring Scenic Area, Dongshan Xianhu Farm, Liujia Chishan Longhu Rock, Guantian Wushantou Reservoir Scenic Area, and the Park in Memory of Hatta Yoichi.
