The Minquan Yellow River Old Course Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Minquan County, Henan Province, and includes three medium-sized reservoirs: Linqi Reservoir (Qiushui Lake), Wutun Reservoir (Longze Lake), and Renzhuang Reservoir. It is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area. The scenic area covers an area of 101.1 square kilometers, with water surfaces accounting for 31.4 square kilometers. These three medium-sized reservoirs are the core elements of the scenic area, serving multiple functions such as flood control, water supply, and irrigation. The reservoir areas feature vast expanses of water, good water quality, and shimmering waves that are truly captivating. The scenic area presents diverse scenery throughout the four seasons. Its beautiful natural landscape blends harmoniously with the majestic sight of water discharges, while also showcasing the water conservancy workers’ spirit of “hard work and self-reliance” in managing water resources.
