Taiwan’s popular Japanese conveyor belt sushi brands “SUSHIRO” and “Kura Sushi” have many outlets and high popularity, and both opened new branches at the end of July. SUSHIRO’s fifth store will open in Xingtian Temple commercial district on July 31, launching a limited-time special offer: “Popular Salmon Set of 3 for NT$60.”

SUSHIRO Taiwan’s fifth store has opened on Section 3, Minquan East Road. The grand opening promotion “Popular Salmon Set of 3 for NT$60” includes grilled salmon belly, salmon belly oyakodon, and thickly sliced raw salmon—three super-popular salmon sushi varieties in one set, available exclusively at “Taipei Minquan Jianguo Store.”

Another popular conveyor belt sushi chain, Kura Sushi, will also open a brand-new outlet at Yonghe’s Biyang Plaza on July 23, offering nearly 200 seats. It will also launch an exclusive “Detective Conan” collaboration capsule toy series, including a Kaitou Kid piggy bank (with character voice), a chibi Kaitou Kid plush seat cushion, and a set of exquisitely designed character playing cards with black backgrounds and gold/silver foil patterns.

From the opening day until July 25, diners at Kura Sushi’s Biyang Plaza store not only have the chance to win Detective Conan collaboration capsule toys from the gashapon machine but also have the opportunity to receive one of 20 limited-edition Conan prizes directly from Japan: 5 piggy banks, 5 plush seat cushions, and 10 playing card sets.

Kura Sushi’s Biyang Plaza store is the chain’s 19th outlet in Taiwan. In addition to carrying seven new menu items available across all stores, it will also launch a limited-time Tanabata (Qixi Festival) dessert series featuring “Rich Chocolate Pudding Sundae” and other chocolate-themed treats from August 1 to 14.
