The Anyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Anyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall is located at No. 6 Zhaoxia Road, Wenhua District, Anyang City, with an exhibition area of approximately 5,000 square meters. Its primary functions include showcasing Anyang’s overall urban planning, specialized planning, as well as the planning achievements of its subordinate cities, counties (and districts). The exhibition space is divided into five sections, ten exhibition halls, and forty-nine exhibits:

Five sections: Impression, History, Achievements, Planning, and Future.

Ten exhibition halls: The first floor includes the City Lounge, Anyang Impressions, History Hall, Overall Planning Hall, Construction Achievements Hall, and Central Axis Hall; the second floor includes the Specialized Planning Hall, Industrial Cluster Planning Hall, City-County-District Hall, and Future Hall.

Forty-nine exhibits: On the first floor — City Lounge, Anyang Overview, Eight Scenic Spots of Anyang, Simplified Historical Timeline, Changes in Anyang’s City Sites, Xiaonanhai Primitive Cave, Historical Evolution, Protection of Yinxu, Old City Preservation, Holographic Projection, Ancient Architecture of Anyang, Old Locust Tree, Wenfeng Pagoda, 270° Ancient City Experience Space, Memories of the Old City, Traces, Construction Achievements, Past Planning Efforts, Overall Plan, Overall Planning Model, Satellite Map, Planning Publicity Area, Infrastructure Planning, Public Infrastructure Planning, Central City Regulatory Detailed Planning, Sponge City, Focus on the Central Axis, Urban Design, Urban Regeneration, and Planning Messages; on the second floor — Eco-Plant Wall – Infrastructure Planning, Protection of Historic and Cultural Cities, Traditional Villages, Transportation Planning, VR Self-Driving Tour, Interactive Photo Booth, Capital of Air Sports, Ecotourism, Urban Water System Landscape Planning, VIP Stand, City-Town System Planning, Urban-Rural System Planning, Industrial Cluster Planning, City-County Planning, District Planning, Future Cinema, Urban VR Panorama, Key Projects, and International Sister Cities.

The Anyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall fully utilizes the most modern and advanced technological methods, using the profound historical and cultural heritage of the ancient capital Anyang as a foundation to comprehensively present the humanistic history of “Landscape Anyang, Cultural Anyang, and Historic Anyang.” With the theme of “Guiding Urban and Rural Development through Planning,” it employs texts, charts, photos, physical objects, sand table models, and other forms, along with sound, light, electricity, multimedia, and other modern technologies to comprehensively showcase the millennia-old capital’s historical and cultural depth, contemporary construction achievements, and future urban development vision.

The Anyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall serves as an important bridge for the public to engage with and participate in planning; it is also a key promotional window for external exchanges, investment attraction, and promoting mutual understanding and communication between cities. It plays a significant role in showcasing Anyang’s image, culture, and urban-rural planning and construction.
