On October 10, 2013, the Zhang Family Ancestral Hall in Dianzi was announced by the People's Government of Shandong Province as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.

Zhangjiachan Town: "Zhangjiachan Town is situated at the eastern tip of the Jiaodong Peninsula, bordering the Yellow Sea to the east and facing South Korea and Japan across the sea. To the north lies Weihai City, a recipient of the United Nations Habitat Award, adjacent to the urban area of Wendeng. To the south, it connects with Bukuang Port and Shidao Port. The town governs 56 administrative villages, has a population of 23,000, and covers an area of 82 square kilometers. It is an emerging town with a superior location, well-developed transportation, beautiful ecology, and a thriving economy. It has successively been honored with titles such as 'Nationally Recognized Beautiful Environment Town,' 'Shandong Provincial Sanitary Town,' 'Weihai Civilized Town,' and 'Weihai Safe Town.'
