Daxi Valley Cultural and Creative Town is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Daxi Valley Cultural and Creative Town project is situated in the picturesque Wende Economic Development Zone, north of Guangzhou Road and east of Hushan Road, at the junction of Wendeng and Weihai — an area with excellent geographical advantages. Inspired by the success of Guam in the United States and drawing on globally advanced tourism and service concepts, the project integrates local folklore and cultural heritage. It is themed around wedding culture tourism, centered on China's first cultural expo creative park, and benchmarked against China’s fourth-generation theme parks. This large-scale cultural industry creative base encompasses a range of functions including wedding culture, themed amusement, business leisure, hot spring therapy, cultural experience, log cabin wellness vacations, and eco-agricultural tourism with leisure sightseeing and fruit picking.

The overall planning of Daxi Valley Cultural and Creative Town adheres to the thematic thread of “mountains as the framework, water as the soul.” The entire project is nestled within the embrace of Hutou Mountain and beside Longfeng Lake, boasting exceptionally beautiful natural surroundings where lake and mountain views stretch as far as the eye can see. Attractions completed to date include the Guesthouse, Eco-Garden Themed Restaurant, Lawn Golf Greens, Shibazakura Flower Fields, Wisteria Canyon, Rainbow Church, and a characteristic commercial street, along with various fruit plantings available for visitors to pick.

Within Daxi Valley Cultural and Creative Town, there is a 10-kilometer motorized forest road, a 15-kilometer Zen wellness walking trail, and forest oxygen-bar cycling paths. With a high-density natural forest coverage, you can enjoy both unobstructed road access and the tranquility and harmony of nature. The project area features 2 million square meters of green space, 80% of which consists of black pine. The extensive black pine vegetation releases a large amount of negative oxygen ions, with the area’s negative ion concentration being 500 times that of urban levels, offering natural benefits for your respiratory health. Additionally, the 250,000-square-meter pure water coverage area originating from the Hutou Mountain water system in Wendeng — known as a longevity destination — ensures effective air humidity balance.

In 2016, Daxi Valley Cultural and Creative Town successfully hosted the Weihai International Fishing Culture Week, was listed as a national-level leisure fishing park, was included in Shandong Province’s list of Characteristic Towns in 2017, and was recognized as a National Preferred Tourism Project by the China National Tourism Administration in the same year.
