Wangliu Subdistrict, Weicheng District is located in the southern part of Weicheng District, with a planned area of 118 square kilometers. It governs 96 administrative villages, 18,000 households, a population of 73,000, and 68,500 mu of arable land. Wangliu has a long history, splendid culture, and is a place of outstanding people. It is a well-known historical and commercial hub in Weifang. The area is served by major roads such as Weijiu Road, West Second Ring Road, Weijiao Road, and Bao Tong Street, ensuring convenient transportation. The university science and education industrial park has received a cumulative investment of 1.2 billion yuan, with a construction area of 1.3 million square meters. Weifang Medical University, Shandong Science and Education Vocational College, Shandong Industrial Technician College, and Weifang Senior Technician College house 46,000 students and faculty, exerting an increasingly significant radiating and driving effect on the local economic and social development.
