The Guanyin Mountain Tourist Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Guanyin Mountain Tourist Area is located in the eastern part of Zhengcheng Town, known as China’s No.1 Town for honeysuckle. It lies to the east of the Jiujianpeng Scenic Area, a national “AAA”-rated agricultural tourism destination, and is named for its main peak that strikingly resembles the Goddess Guanyin. The Nine-Lotus Mountain and Lotus Throne seem to be arranged for Guanyin, praying for her protection over the peace of Zhengcheng. The area features interconnected landscapes of mountains and waters, filled with fragrant flowers and fruits, offering beautiful scenery, well-preserved ecological vegetation, and simple local customs. It is primarily an eco-agricultural sightseeing and holiday resort. The entire Guanyin Mountain massif, when viewed from different angles, takes on various shapes such as Mencius’ Mother Teaching Her Son, a Reclining Buddha, and a Tiger Looking Back. The Nine-Lotus Mountain consists of nine peaks distributed across a massive flat-topped mountain, each with distinct shapes. The gently sloping flat summit between the peaks hosts an Xanthoceras sorbifolium ecological park and vast stretches of yellow grassland. Guanyin Mountain extends for dozens of miles, covered with honeysuckle, various fruit trees, Masson pine, oriental arborvitae, and locust trees. It is one of the country’s primary regions for honeysuckle production, featuring numerous GAP-standardized honeysuckle planting bases, ecological parks, and orchards. There are countless century-old fruit trees, among which the “King of Hawthorn” and “King of Persimmon” are notable examples. At the foot of the Nine-Lotus Mountain lies Youlou Village, a famous provincial-level model village for new socialist rural construction and a popular agritainment tourism spot. The village architecture is built along the contours of the mountain, creating a staggered and picturesque layout. Adjacent to Youlou Village is the vast Changli Reservoir, a large-type water reservoir. Together, the landscapes on the mountain and around the lake form a unique “heaven-on-earth” scene. The area also contains significant revolutionary historical sites, including the site of the 115th Division Meeting and the former residence of Luo Ronghuan. These, along with the Sujia Fortress Battle Site, Sujia Fortress Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery, Zheng Xuan Park, Zheng Xuan Tomb, and a cluster of Han Dynasty tombs, collectively enrich Zhengcheng’s vibrant historical and cultural heritage as well as its red revolutionary legacy.
