Not far from Seoul, Gyeonggi-do has become a popular tourist destination thanks to attractions like Petite France and Nami Island. If you'd rather not travel too far, spending the night locally might be a great choice. Recently, two local guesthouses in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, have gone viral for their unique themed rooms — including Shin Ramyun (Korean instant noodles), Starbucks, and even money-roll themes — making them highly sought-after accommodations among travelers.

1. UNIQUE

The UNIQUE guesthouse offers five themed room types: Starbucks, Heineken, iPhone box, Volkswagen mini van, and Shin Ramyun — each designed according to the brand's distinctive style.

For the Starbucks room, UNIQUE has placed an oversized Starbucks mug in the room, allowing guests to sleep inside the mug for a truly unique lodging experience. The room's color scheme is dominated by classic green and white, with Starbucks logos visible everywhere, fulfilling coffee lovers' dream of "sleeping inside Starbucks."

If you want to stay in a room full of Korean flavor, the "Shin Ramyun Room" is the perfect choice. A giant cup of instant noodles stands in one corner of the room, where guests can literally sleep inside the noodle cup. With red, white, and yellow as the main room colors, a small dining table also comes with authentic Shin Ramyun, letting travelers "eat Shin Ramyun while sitting in it!"

All five themed room types at UNIQUE are double rooms and cannot accommodate additional guests. Each room includes a bathroom as well as amenities such as a small kitchenette.

2. Cozy Theme

Cozy Theme, also well known for its unique themed rooms, offers seven room types in total, five of which are especially lifestyle-oriented, such as theBanana Milk Roomwhich is shaped like a banana milk carton, allowing guests to actually "sleep" inside what looks like a yogurt drink container;the Money Roll Roomlets guests sleep inside a rolled-up bundle of cylindrical Korean won bills. Other options include a Soccer Room, a Soju Bottle Room, and a Pickup Truck Room.

Each of the themed rooms costs 99,000 KRW (approx. NT$2,730) on weekdays and 150,000 KRW on holidays, and all come with wooden balconies where guests can enjoy the beauty of Gapyeong-gun day or night.
