Bailong Temple Scenic Area is a cultural tourism attraction.

Bailong Temple Scenic Area is located in Bailongquan Village on the west side of Pingyi County, 7 kilometers from the county town. Nestled against mountains and beside water, it boasts beautiful scenery. The scenic area is rich in tourism resources, featuring two mountains, four hills, twelve peaks, covering an area of 2,500 mu, with 1,500 mu of forest and 12,000 square meters of building area. Bailong Temple was first built during the Song Dynasty and was originally called Dragon King Temple. During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, Master Guogong came here to solicit alms and, seeing the beautiful mountain and water scenery suitable for spiritual practice, began expanding the temple. Between 1939 and 1942, Mi Shimin, then commander of the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Brigade of Feinan County and head of Pingyi Township, established anti-Japanese forces here. Remnants of the defensive walls and gun towers he built still remain. In addition, there are more than 20 other attractions, including Immortal Bridge, Chaoyang Cave, Bailong Spring, Mount Wanfo, natural caves, Tianchi (Heavenly Lake), Xuwang Ancient Stockade, Wujiazhuang Reservoir, and a thousand-mu locust blossom forest. Around the 15th day of the second lunar month each year, a grand temple fair is held at Bailong Temple Scenic Area. It has now become a sacred site for meditation, prayer, and wish-making for villagers in Pingyi, Sishui, and surrounding areas, as well as a comprehensive tourist destination integrating spiritual practice, wish-making, leisure vacation, agricultural sightseeing, and fruit picking.
