Mulan Cave

Mulan Cave is located in Xizhao Village, 25 kilometers northwest of Mancheng County. Nestled in the secluded and picturesque Mulan Valley, surrounded by lush mountains and offering beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate, the cave boasts uniquely diverse landscapes with ever-changing heights and widths. The cave stretches 300 meters in length and is filled with numerous stalagmites and stalactites, resembling the karst landscapes of southern China. Stone flowers, stone pillars, stone cones, and stone trees shimmer brilliantly, as if made of high-quality jade, with a clear and translucent beauty. The stone waterfalls are as majestic as real ones. The cave has also yielded fossils of ancient animals such as bears, deer, and hunting dogs dating back 50,000 years, providing highly valuable physical evidence for studying the region’s climate and geological changes.
