Cherry Blossom Viewing / The Most Beautiful Surprise – Korean Spring Cherry Blossoms Bloom a Week Early

With warmer weather and the approach of early April holidays, neighboring travel destinations are also experiencing a "cherry blossom craze." According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, this year (2013) in Korea has brought a beautiful surprise – cherry blossoms have bloomed about a week earlier than last year. Starting from March 17th, you can follow Miss Flower to explore the spring cherry blossom scenery across Korea, beginning with the southernmost Jeju Island.

Starting from March 17th, the southernmost Jeju Island becomes the first place to enjoy Korea’s spring cherry blossom beauty. South Korea’s top cherry blossom destination, "Jinhae," is expected to showcase a spectacular sea of blooming cherry blossoms by March 28th. In Busan, Yeongnymun Ridge will be in full bloom by March 23rd, while Yeouido in Seoul will display its cherry blossoms around April 8th.
