Ruins of the Linji City

The ruins of the Linji City is a cultural tourism attraction.

The ruins of the Linji City are located in Liujiazhen of Heilitai Town, and were the site of Linji County during the Liu Song Dynasty of the Northern and Southern Dynasties period. The layout of the city walls largely aligns with the outer perimeter of Liujiazhen, with the top of the walls about 1.5 meters below the current ground surface. In 1958, a large stone slab was unearthed 4 meters deep at the northern entrance of the village, suspected to be part of the city gate bridge. Pottery jars have also been excavated during well-digging in the village.

Heilitai Town: Heilitai Town is situated in the southwest of Gaoqing County, bordered by the Xiaoqing River to the south, the Yellow River to the west, the Qingzhi Highway to the east, and adjacent to Qingcheng Town to the north and Huagou Town to the east, with Zouping County to the south. It stretches 12 kilometers from east to west and 10 kilometers from north to south, covering an area of 96 square kilometers. The town governs 101 natural villages, has 9,808 households, and encompasses 90,651 mu of arable land.

The terrain within the town is entirely flat. The western part is adjacent to the Yellow River, while the southern region benefits from irrigation by the Xiaoqing River.
